Getting Started

Start with Yard Ready

Use the owner-only setup hub to see what is ready, what still needs attention, and where to continue your EquipFlow setup.

For:Owner

Before you start.

  • Sign in with the Owner role.
  • Have your company, yard, equipment, customer, and billing details nearby.

Steps.

  1. Open Yard Ready

    Take me there →

Open Yard Ready from the dashboard. The page groups setup into phases and shows progress from your company’s saved settings and records.

Treat the progress as a guide to a controlled first rental, not as a claim that every optional setting must be filled in before anyone can work.

  2. Work the phases in order

Start with company and yard details, then add the equipment and customer records needed for a real rental. Finish with billing rules, document defaults, and readiness checks.

Open a task from its tile, save your changes, and return to Yard Ready to see the updated result.

Checklist template settings in the EquipFlow setup workspace

Checklist templates are one of the setup areas linked from Yard Ready.

    Open full-size screenshot (new tab)
  3. Complete a first-rental check

Create a representative rental and use the invoice reconciliation step to compare EquipFlow’s result with a total you already trust.

If the totals differ, review dates, rates, fees, taxes, and billing-cycle settings before acknowledging the check.

    warning

Yard Ready is owner-only because it exposes company-wide setup and billing readiness.

Common problems and recovery.

A tile still says it needs setup after you saved.

Reopen the task, check for required fields or a missing default, then return to Yard Ready and refresh.

There is no rental available for invoice reconciliation.

Create a representative rental with dates, priced lines, and a customer before returning to the reconciliation step.

Continue in EquipFlow.
