Schedule and complete dispatch work

Create a delivery, pickup, or transfer, assign the work, and record the movement and proof needed to complete it.

For:OwnerDispatcherYard ManagerDriver

Before you start.

  • Create the rental or movement record.
  • Add the required unit targets, address, and date.
  • An Owner or Dispatcher creates the run. An Owner, Dispatcher, or Yard Manager can assign and sequence existing work; the assigned team member completes it.

Steps.

  1. Schedule the movement

    Take me there →

An Owner or Dispatcher creates the delivery, pickup, or transfer with its date, time window, origin, destination, and selected units or rental targets.

Rental deliveries and pickups change customer custody. Transfers move equipment between operational locations without changing a rental delivery state.

Dispatch groups the day's runs, exceptions, drivers, destinations, and equipment.

  2. Assign and sequence the work

An Owner, Dispatcher, or Yard Manager uses the Dispatch day view to review carryover, late, and unassigned work, assign an eligible driver or carrier, and place the stop in the intended order.

A signed-in driver must be active and allowed to drive; license and unit conflicts can prevent assignment.

  3. Run and complete the stop

The assigned Driver—or an Owner, Dispatcher, or Yard Manager with access—opens the task, marks the movement in transit, captures the required proof, and completes the stop.

Verify the unit’s possession, location, and rental status after completion. A completed stop does not also finish inspection, billing, or Yard readiness.

    warning

Secure public stop links contain access tokens. Never include them in screenshots, articles, or support messages.

Common problems and recovery.

A driver cannot be assigned.

Check active status, driving permission, date, license expiry, and unit conflicts.

A stop cannot start or complete.

Check its status, targets, date, driver, and address before retrying. If the stop says “At least one photo or a signature is required to confirm this stop,” add that proof before choosing Complete stop or Mark complete.
