Create and send a quote

Build a priced offer with the right customer, site, dates, and equipment, then send or share it with the customer.

Before you start.

  • Create the customer and job site.
  • Add the products and rates you plan to quote.

Steps.

  1. Start the quote

    Take me there →

    Open Rentals, start a new quote, and choose the customer, job site, contact, and rental window. Use Open-ended only when the customer has no fixed end date.

    Start from Rentals to find existing work or begin a new quote.

  2. Add lines and review pricing

    Add products, quantities, rates, fees, and logistics. Review the displayed total and availability before saving.

    A quote should have at least one priced line before it is sent to a customer.

  3. Send or share the quote

    Open the saved quote and confirm the customer-facing details. Choose Send Quote, or open Quote actions and choose Email Quote or Shareable Link. Verify the quote status and delivery history after sending.

    note

    Sending a quote does not reserve a unit by itself. Review availability again before accepting, reserving, or converting it.

Common problems and recovery.

The quote dates will not save.

Use either Open-ended or a valid end date after the start date, not both.

The customer did not receive the quote.

Check the billing/contact email, review send history, and create a fresh secure share when appropriate.
